Archery at camp 2018

“Welcome to camp archery”
I shake vigorously as I pick up the bow and arrow.anxiously I loaded the bow and made sure my feet were 45 degrees, the roosters feather was pointed to me. I furiously pulled back the string and shot...

I felt the arrow wised past my head and through the air and then poked into the target hitting a blue. Finally hitting a shot I bounced up and down in disbelief, getting ready to shoot again I was interrupted by a voice calling.
“Stop shooting now were going to learn face and flick”
Face and flick are part of the six f’s face means pulling the string back to your cheek. Flick is flicking your fingers as you shoot.
As the sun slowly faded into the night, we strolled up to the lodge. After a good and tiring day of archery, I was ready for some spot light but thats story of another time.
